Roan Mountain State Park, in East Tennessee, received 5″ of snow last night. Our wood stove keeps us warm, with Bruce doing all the cutting of the eco-logs. There is real beauty in snow. Yes, flowers are beautiful, and fall leaves, but snow is a real thriller and soul soother. (I suppose being a native Vermonter has something to do with it.)
