One of the purchases we made for a year-round camping lifestyle was an Arctic cooler.  Even in warm weather ice only needs to be added every 3-4 days (depending on how much it’s opened.) With the cold weather the ice has lasted 3+ weeks. It was a $200.00 investment, but worth every penny knowing  our food won’t spoil.

We lift up the truck’s window for our refrigerator/ freezer
Two baskets on the top make it easier to get to food. Bruce attached a rope on the right side of the truck ceiling so the lid can stay open while hunting for food.
Steak marinating at the bottom of the cooler 🙂
