One thing I really like about tent living is the LIGHT. Before daybreak, while the tent is still dark, we use a lantern and a “light emitting diode” (LED) battery-powered lamp. But, when the sun rises 2 or 3 of the tent panels turn a soft golden yellow. As the sun moves (the Earth moves, I mean) more and more of the 13 panels are hit by the sun and we’re bathed in light.
SOUNDS are the next thing I like. Birds! Woodpeckers rat-a-tat-tatting; crows cawing, rattling, and clicking; lots of songbirds chirping and calling to each other; and Canada geese honking.
Tent life= wonderful light and sounds!
