Helen, Georgia

Helen, Georgia is a Bavarian Alps replica town. “It’s the charm of Bavaria, Germany, in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains.” Helen is the state’s third most visited city that was formerly a logging town in decline that reinvented themselves. All buildings since 1969, must look like a Bavarian alpine town.

Me 🙂

The Chattahooee River flows  through the town. There are many waterfalls. Here is a tiny one.The landscaping was nice. Cobblestone streets were everywhere.

Bruce and I were celebrating our six month of meeting each other (online at Farmer’s Only – City folks just don’t get it. Lol.)  For dinner we had braadworst and hot German potato salad.

It was a fun day in a neat little town.  A beautiful sunset in the Blue Ridge Mountains completed our day.
