Take a noonday stroll with me along the trail at Hiwassee Ocoee State Park, Tennessee. It’s a hot 83° sunny day.  The shade feels wonderful as it dries my sweat. There is such a feeling of inner peace walking in nature.

The path is alluring..

The triliums were the tallest I’ve ever seen…

The underside of a trillium…

  A butterfly…

Honeysuckle…

A patch of wildflowers…

And a sure sign of spring – dandelions!

The Hiwassee River is cuddled by beautiful hills and Hiwasee Ocoee State Park…

A pleasant stroll indeed!
