On our first day primitive tent camping at Harrison Bay State Park in eastern Tennessee (our second time camping here),  three very cool things happened.

1.  Deer were only several yards from our tent…

2.  Musicians a few campsites away were playing and singing.  One was playing a fiddle, another was playing guitar, and the third man was singing.  (They practice daily.)  It’s wonderful to hear live music while sitting at our picnic table!

3. After buying groceries, I was getting into my car, looked up, and saw a tiny rainbow…

I decided to sit and wait to see if it grew. Not only did it grow, it was a double rainbow!

Yes, it was an auspicious first day at Harrison Bay State Park!
